The store has been in operation in Bentonville since 1948, when it was begun by Doug’s grandparents, Ralph and Belle Overstreet. The store has undergone a number of changes — including address changes — since opening on the Bentonville Square nearly 60 years ago, most recently in 2005, when the store was completely remodeled.
