New this year will be a Fear Factor-style game with gross "eyeballs" and "worms."Casper Police Officer Scott Jones has a number of tips to remember on Halloween night itself, and said parents play a big role in keeping kids safe.Jones said there haven't been any major safety issues in recent years, for example any tampering with candy."We have had people in years past do that sort of thing, but we don't see a lot of it any more because people are doing very well in monitoring where their kids go," Jones said.People start trick-or-treating here as soon as it starts to get dark and activity usually continues to around 10 p.m., Jones said. He advised drivers to take it slow and look out for kids, and advised kids to avoid costumes that restrict their vision."The last thing we want is to have a child become injured," he said.Parents should accompany children regardless of age during trick-or-treating, and can go in a big group with other families.
