Five of her former players are members of the MAAC 25th anniversary team announced last month. The list includes Gail Strumpf (1997-2001), the Stags’ career scoring leader with 1,873 points, and Dana Pellegrino (1984-88), MVP of the 1988 MAAC championship team who led the Stags to a 55-50 win over La Salle for the title. Nolan counts that as one of her favorite career moments. La Salle was one of the top 20 teams in the country and the Stags were lightly regarded.
