The most intriguing newcomer is junior college transfer Cherie Mills, who could have an immediate impact after two dominant seasons at Louisburg College – both of which earned her NJCAA All-American honors. Mills, who played at Ayden-Grifton High School, shed nearly 30 pounds during the offseason and should be one of the top players in Conference USA when she gets some experience under her belt.
