Sirens And Such - Midway Driller
The Taft Union High School District authorized the establishment of classes at the Junior College level starting in September 15, 1922. The district became known as the Taft Union High and Taft Junior College District. The Taft Junior College became the 16th such institution in the state. The junior college classes were initially taught on the high school campus using high school instructors.
