By now, the flashbulbs were going to strain to measure up to his brilliance. By now, Peter Warrick was supposed to be a star. Wasn't he? He was going to be center stage, high above the crowd. He was going to stand on a podium and discuss the many layers of his greatness to the media while, across town, defensive coordinators were feverishly working to find some way to slow him down. He was going to be about touchdowns and highlights, about Pro Bowls and endorsements, about movie deals and magic moments.
