The Marion Community Toastmasters Club 7543 met Monday in the STAR building of the Indiana Wesleyan University, 1900 W. 50th St., with Robert M. Taylor, ATMG, presiding. Betty Record, DTM, led the pledge and invocation. Others present were Edna Snyder, DTM, toastmaster, Carole Wandrei, DTM, topicmaster, K. Patel, ATMB, grammarian/timer, and Fred Wandrei, DTM, general evaluator. Word for the day was "segue." Impromptu speakers on fortune cookies or scriptures were Fred Wandrei, Taylor, Patty Bragg, ATMB, Record and Snyder. Record was best impromptu speaker.
