NO. 20 AIC RALLIES TO TOP FRANKLIN PIERCE IN DOUBLE OVERTIME - AIC Yellowjackets
RINDGE, N.H. (February 4, 2006) – Sharmion Selman (Burlington, Vt.) totaled 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 20 American International College as it rallied from a 13-point second half deficit to post a 65-60 double overtime victory over Franklin Pierce College in Northeast-10 women’s basketball Saturday afternoon at the FPC Fieldhouse. The win, the third straight for the Yellow Jackets, who entered Saturday’s game ranked No.2 in the Northeast Region, improved to 18-4 and 13-4 in the NE-10, while the Ravens, who were ranked No. 9 in the region, fall to 13-9 and 10-7 in the league.
