Is financial prowess the benchmark for everything the University of South Alabama does? The most glaring example of breadwinners gone bad are USA's three hospitals that lost $8 million combined two years ago. Take away the USA Women and Children's Hospital that actually makes money from delivering babies paid for by Medicaid entitlements and the University of South Alabama's venture in the hospital business is an even worse abysmal failure.
