Keith Richard, Louisiana Tech The departure of Texas El-Paso, Rice, Southern Methodist and Tulsa from the Western Athletic Conference isolates the Bulldogs geographically, likely costing Richard his final opportunity to capitalize on Paul Millsap's rebounding. The best kept secret in college basketball, Millsap has led the NCAA in rebounding in consecutive seasons. But despite Paul's Dennis Rodman impersonation and more than 20 points per game, Louisiana Tech lost more games than it won last year. The Bulldogs' distance should help Richard protect his home floor. But with Nevada and Utah State sure to dominate the WAC, Louisiana Tech must also win away on the road to remain competitive. Unfortunately, conference realignment means the Bulldogs will travel even further for road contests, making victories all the rarer.
