Scientists, techs from around country visit telescope - Eastern Arizona Courier
Though the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT) atop Mount Graham has yet to be completed, University of Arizona officials are eager to show it off, and their chance came this weekend as the college hosted conferences for optics technicians, cleaning and coating technicians and operations managers.Dozens of scientists traveled to Safford to participate in discussions and attend a tour of the LBT facility.
