I guess it's that time of year when we all want to get in better shape or pay more attention to how we feel.Massage Envy is scheduled to open at the end of this week at 12655 University Ave. in Clive, across the street from Biaggi's restaurant.It's a therapeutic massage clinic specializing in treatment of sports injuries, chronic injuries, arthritis, trigger points or any area that needs massage to improve movement by relieving pain and stiffness.The massage is Swedish, deep tissue and therapeutic for relaxation.Massage Envy is a Phoenix, Ariz.-based company that has launched an aggressive growth campaign. The company formed in 2002 and is striving to have 1,000 franchises open within three years.Joe Fitzgerald of Urbandale, the regional developer in Iowa and Nebraska, said this is the first national membership-based massage franchise. Members should be able to go to any major city for a massage.Members pay $49 for the first one-hour session, which includes a consultation.
