Wasn't it just last week that the season started?OK, it was actually last month that football started. And most of the teams that began in the middle of August - softball and tennis - are gone from the playoffs.But this season has had its share of interesting stories.Like Joplin High School soccer player Chris Hernandez (along with Cassville's Nick Schlichtman and Jason Bromley) scoring on the gridiron as well as the soccer pitch.Or McAuley Catholic's softball team winning another Ozark 7 Conference title and again losing in the district. - more available
