Y-MOT aims to assist kids in navigating college, career - commercialappeal.com (subscription)
The fair was hosted by Young Women/Workers Striving for Excellence, a Christian ministry program also geared for youths in urban Memphis. Accompanied by junior youth leader Desmon Briggs, students visited with representatives from Crichton College, University of Memphis, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, LeMoyne-Owen College, Rhodes College, Christian Brothers University, ITT Technical Institute, Remington College, Massage Institute of Memphis, Concorde Career Institute and Southwest Tennessee Community College joined representatives from various branches of the military. Brochures representing programs available at Memphis College of Arts, Lane College and UT Martin were also made available.
