Letters, 10/17: Time for new venue I agree with L. Kent Wolgamott that Lincoln is overdue for a new concert venue (Ground Zero, LJS, Oct. 7). I don’t know if the Brad Paisley show is critical or not for Pershing. I do know that for the money spent on Phase One of the Antelope Valley Project we could have had the Qwest Center and we could have built it where the baseball stadium is. It would have been a win-win scenario. The city would have a facility usable for more than a few months per year, and we could have had money left over to fix the sidewalks and finish South 84th Street.David Oenbring, LincolnClear Lincoln of danger Monday, Oct. 3, Richard E.
