Braden Jones given sixth year of eligibility - The Southern
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa “ It's official. Braden Jones won't be a one-year wonder at SIU.The tight end, fullback and special teams ace learned immediately after No. 14 Northern Iowa's 25-24 win at the UNI-Dome Saturday that the NCAA granted the Harrisburg product a "sixth year" of eligibility.No. 4 SIU had applied for the additional season several weeks ago."Right now it's nice to hear some good news after a tough loss like that," Jones said.
