Rick Toppin Named President of Corporate Express Canada - Canada NewsWire (press release)
BROOMFIELD, Colo., Oct. 18 /CNW/ -- Corporate Express, Inc., a Buhrmann company (NYSE: BUH), announced today that it has named Rick Toppin President of Corporate Express Canada. Corporate Express is one of the world's largest business-to-business suppliers of essential office, facilities, furniture and computer products and services, with 2004 sales of approximately $4.5 billion in North America. Toppin joined Corporate Express in 1999 as President of Corporate Express' Minnesota Division, where he led the growth and development of its healthcare, education, retail, and banking vertical markets. He also helped the Minnesota Division develop a strong furniture business over the course of his tenure at the Division. "Rick has made significant contributions as President of our Minnesota Division and brings considerable leadership experience to our strong Canadian management team," said Mark Hoffman, President & CEO of Corporate Express. Prior to joining Corporate Express, Rick held a number of senior management positions with Moore Corporation. Rick has a BA in Business from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MBA in management from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
