New Orleans basketball gets aid - Arizona Republic
DENVER - The University of New Orleans basketball T-shirts still are for sale at Big Bill's New York Pizza. "Big Bill" is Bill Ficke, a longtime Denver-area resident and former Denver Nuggets assistant coach. Ficke recently sent a check to a UNO foundation for more than $10,000, proceeds from his restaurant's annual salute to the victims and heroes of Sept. 11, 2001.
