Northwest vote provides glimpse of unions' future - USA Today
"I call it reality-based bargaining," says Gary Chaison, professor of management at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. Leaders of the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association decided Friday to put Northwest's latest offer to a vote. The union will have two weeks to accept or reject the latest offer by the USA's No. 4 airline.
