Party time for chimps - Orlando Sentinel
Got to hand it to the British tabloids -- they love their animals. The Daily Mail of London never lets a day go by without an animal picture. Want to know what chimps say when it's time for a tea party? According to the Mail and scientists at St. Andrews University (Prince William's alma mater) when chimps find food they like, they call out to let others know to join in. Bread, which they consider a high-value food, prompts a high-pitched grunt, while a find of apples, which they deem less impressive, is signaled with a lower noise.
