Applications for the 2006 Key West Writers Guild Award are now available online and at the Florida Keys Council of the Arts office. The award of $2,000 is for a Monroe County resident writer to continue a novel or nonfiction work in progress. In order to qualify, an applicant must become a member of the Key West Writers Guild and attend two meetings prior to Dec. 10.
