Two area firms are receiving funding through a state worker-training program. Dr. Schneider Automotive Systems in Howell will receive $90,000 through the Livingston County Michigan Works agency to train five existing and 175 new workers. Liebherr Aerospace in Saline will get $20,000 to train 40 new workers at Washtenaw Community College.
