Department 56 (NYSE: DFS): Said it will change its name to Lenox Group Inc. Department 56, best known for its miniature village collectibles, bought Lenox Inc. for $190 million in July. Lenox, which has roughly three times the sales of Department 56, sells tabletop and giftware products. The name change will take effect within the next month and the company's stock ticker will change to "LNX." The company will continue to market its collectibles under the Department 56 brand. … Reported third-quarter net income of $11.1 million and revenue of $99.9 million, compared with net income of $9.2 million and revenue of $53.2 million a year ago.
