Carroll trustees vote to block faculty union efforts - Waukesha Freeman
* Aug. 31: Ballots are opened after an Aug. 26 NLRB decision to certify the faculty’s vote. NLRB members said they ruled against Carroll because the college could not provide enough evidence to prove unionization would limit the school’s religious freedom. Faculty members voted 57 to 39 in favor of unionization. Carroll administrators appealed the election within seven days.
