Reaching new heights - New Jersey Herald
Hoffman and D'Allara became friends at Lehman College, CUNY, in the Bronx, where both studied physical education. When Hoffman found out about D'Allara's death a year later, he wanted to create an event that would honor him. He spoke to Todd Lamison, field director for the Patriot's Path Council, and together, they organized the Climbathon.
