Con Ed Scholar-Athlete award: Somers' Bean - The Journal News.com
Bean's latest recognition is as the Con Edison Athlete of the Week. The senior hasn't slowed down a bit this year, winning the St. Anthony's Invitational and Randolph Invitational. His 2.5-mile time of 13 minutes, 3.8 seconds at last week's Manhattan Invitational was good for only fifth place, but it was the fastest Westchester time in the last six years.
