Montfort Academy Live Auction - AmericanTowns.com
(KATONAH, NY) - The Montfort Academy, an independent high school for boys in Katonah, will be holding an auction of fine art and sports and music memorabilia on Saturday, March 4 at St. Mary's School in Katonah. The art preview will be from 7 to 8 p.m. with the live auction beginning at 8 p.m. Ross Galleries of Holbrook, New York will conduct the auction. Available for purchase will be original works at deep discounts of one-third to one-half off gallery prices. All works are custom matted and framed.Ross Galleries, the largest art fundraising organization in the nation, offers artwork of all types including sculptures, lithographs, etchings, oils and watercolors. Artists represented include Leroy Neiman, Dali, Picasso, Jane Wooster-Scott, William Moses and Ansel Adams photos. The gallery conducts a spirited and pressure-less auction which will include approximately 150-175 pieces of fine art and sports and music memorabilia. In addition to the art auction, the evening will include a silent auction of goods and services donated by local area businesses such as gift baskets, sports tickets, decorating and beauty consultations and restaurant certificates.
