North Carolina basketball player out after knee surgery - Greensboro News Record
North Carolina freshman Mike Copeland will miss the next two to four weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Sunday, according to a news release.The 6-foot-7 forward from Winston-Salem tore his cartilage during an intra-squad scrimmage on Friday, the university said.The Tar Heels, last season’s national champions, now have just nine scholarship players to practice.
