Community Sports - The Register-Guard
Boston-bound rowers: The Oregon Association of Rowers Junior Crew team, a club sport based at South Eugene High School but open to youth throughout central Lane County, will send eight local boys and girls to Boston this weekend to row in the prestigious 40th annual Head of the Charles Regatta. Participating in the world's largest two-day rowing event will be Josh Barnes, Olga Botvinnik, Gus Gordon, Jaime Hinton, Jared and Megan Hooley, Brittany Horn and Devin Lee. A week later the OAR juniors will compete at Corvallis in the Head of the Willamette meet, followed by competition at Portland and Seattle in November.
