High-profile attorney and author Robert F. Simone will be the keynote ethics speaker at the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association/ Luzerne County Bar Association Bench-Bar Conference on Nov. 10. Among his major publicized cases are the major burglary in Pottsville involving Philadelphia entertainer Lillian Reis; defense of master criminal, arsonist and burglar Sidney Brooks; defense counsel for many alleged organized crime figures in Philadelphia; the Bobby Bellavia RICO case in Chicago; defense counsel for organized crime figure Nicodemo Scarfo; winning numerous acquittals in New Jersey and Federal Court; counsel for Noah Robinson, Jesse Jackson’s brother, in a murder case in South Carolina; and RICO cases in Chicago. Simone has also represented clients in North Carolina, Florida, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon, New Jersey and many other locations. He has been a featured speaker at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, Pepperdine University and other universities as well as the American Bar Association and numerous other bar associations, societies and social clubs.
