Schiavo Case Topic For Medical Ethics Program - North Country Gazette
UPMC Horizon (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), Thiel College and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will sponsor the the program which will address the case of Terri Schiavo, the Florida woman who sustained serious brain damage in 1990 under suspicious circumstances and died on March 31 after a probate court judge ordered the removal of her feeding tube and refused to allow oral feeding.
