• Julie Shook was promoted to senior vice president-branch administrator of Arvest Bank Springdale. Shook joined Arvest in 1994 and previously worked as financial services representative, branch manager, assistant branch manager and vice president-branch administrator.• Jason Emmert and Jerry Wooley, faculty members in the poultry science department of the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture, received Honorary American FFA degrees during the agriculture group's national convention held in Louisville, Ky., on Oct. 29. Emmert and Wooley have served on the group's poultry judging career development event committee for the past seven and five years, respectively.• Rick Fleetwood, general manager of Snell Prosthetic & Orthotic Laboratory, was elected to a seat on the board of directors of the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association at the association's meeting in Las Vegas. Fleetwood's directorship will be for three years. Fleetwood has a master's degree from the University of Arkansas. He works at the Snell laboratory in Little Rock. The company has offices in Fayetteville and Fort Smith.• Bobby Fink of Springdale was recognized by FirstFleet for attaining 1 million accident free miles.
