BETHANY ANNE PATTERSON ROBERT JAMES MCEWAN - Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (subscription)
DALLAS — Bethany Anne Patterson became the bride of Robert James McEwan at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in Christ the King Catholic Church. The Rev. John Antony officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lewis Patterson, 6 Pebble Beach Court, Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Godale of Cleveland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Patterson of Cincinnati. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Max McEwan of Sunnyvale, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Joseph McEwan of Garland, Texas, Mrs. Mark Lackey of Dallas, and the late Mr. Lackey. The chancel held two large arrangements of roses, red coxcomb, peach stock, cream-colored hydrangeas, bells of Ireland, trailing pepper berries and green amaranthus. Nuptial music was by organist Henry McDowell, the Collegium Cantorum of the University of Dallas, trumpeter Don Burks and cantor Ruth Hooper. The bride wore a strapless white Oleg Cassini satin gown with Alencon lace, pearls and crystals on a tulle overlay. Her white cathedrallength veil was also embellished with pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of tineke roses, antique white majolica roses, stephanotis and Sahara roses. Reagon - more available
