Kuts and Kurls Day plans are a cut above - Dallas Morning News (subscription)
Kuts and Kurls Day was developed by three DeLay staffers – Sharlyn Elliott, Jackie Hancock and Belinda Shavers. They contacted the cosmetology department at the Lewisville school district's Dale Jackson Career Center to provide free shampoos, styles, barber cuts and manicures to the new DeLay students.
