Tough day ends in loss - Rocky Mount Telegram
DANVILLE, Va. — N.C. Wesleyan lost a tire on its way to Danville, Va. to play Averett University. A few hours after getting into town, coach Jack Ginn lost his engine, then his brakes faltered in the Cougar swamp. All totaled, the mechanical failures resulted in a 39-32 Averett victory Saturday.
