The Great Global Warming Debate to be Held at the W&L Law School - Rockbridge Weekly
The Great Global Warming Debate to be Held at the W&L Law School The Environmental Law Society and The Federalist Club at Washington And Lee University School of Law are sponsoring the Great Global Warming Debate on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. in Classroom A of the Washington And Lee University School of Law. The debate will be between nationally known global warming skeptic Patrick Michaels and Professor of Environmental Law Sean H. Donohue, visiting professor at the Law School. The Great Global Warming Debate is open to the public without charge. Michaels is a senior fellow in Environmental Studies at the CATO Institute and research professor of environmental sciences at the University of Virginia. He is a contributing author and reviewer of the United Nations intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Michaels is past president of the American Association of State Climatologists. His writings have been published in major scientific journals including Climate Research, Climatic Change, Nature, Geophysical Research Letters and Science; in addition, his work has been published in various newspapers including the Washington Post, the Washington Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times and USA Today.
