Two sets of Harneys make their mark in coaching - Seattle Times
The Don Harney who died was a football star at Cleveland High School and Central Washington University. He taught at Roosevelt High School from 1947-81 and coached everything from football and baseball to soccer and softball. He is best known as the Roosevelt head football coach from 1963-72, a span in which the Roughriders won two Metro League titles.
