SELF-PORTRAIT Date and place of birth: July 26, 1969, Eureka Springs Family: wife Leslie, sons Garrett and Jackson and daughter Olivia I knew I was grown up when I moved away on my own and did it without help from anybody. I used my own money to move and my own resources to stay afloat. I drive a Ford F250 diesel pickup. My favorite dinner includes lobster tail. I won’t eat my own cooking, unless it’s on the grill. The best time of my life was when my three children were born. The worst time of my life was when my mom and dad divorced. My strengths as a bank president are my vision for this bank in the future and not being afraid to change the status quo. My weakness: I am not as good as I should be at giving praise to people who do great work and help our organization. My trademark expression: If I have one, it’s “If you’re not the lead dog, the view’s always the same.” My favorite place outside Arkansas is the mountains of Wyoming.
