BX Conf. Preview #25: Ohio Valley Conference - DraftExpress
#25 OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE There is an interesting development for this conference this season. There are eleven teams in the league, and for the first time ever they are playing a full home and home schedule throughout the whole conference. That’s TWENTY conference games, which is by far more than any other league. The bad news is that only leaves room for seven ooc games, and for a team like Murray State who may be good enough to possibly get in position for an at large, that limits the number of chances they get to upset someone big and boost their resume. There is a ton of parity in this league for the first eight teams. After that it is a significant drop off. In fact I think it’s very safe to say that if this were an eight team conference rather than an eleven, they would be much higher than #25 in the overall conference RPI. Only eight teams make the conference tourney though and it looks to me that it isn’t hard to tell who those eight teams are going to be. -1. MURRAY STATE.
