Building Memories - Oct. 17, 2005 - Texarkana Gazette
Local managers for the Kress store during the time it occupied this building were: Leslie B. Mosher, Arthur G. Wimer, and Warren W. Galloway. Mosher was a native of New York, born there in 1878. By 1910 he is listed in the city directory with a wife, Francis L. and son, Bernard L Mosher. Warren Galloway was born in North Carolina in 1856. He and his wife, Emma J., had a large family of eight children who were mostly grown by the time they moved here. Just four of the younger children accompanied the family to Texarkana.
