The Chamber of Southwest Florida will hold the 18th annual Southwest Florida Regional Economic Outlook Conference Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Barbara B. Mann Hall, Edison College campus, Fort Myers. The conference theme, "Facing the Challenges and Opportunities of Growth," will include economic forecasting with insight from inside the regional marketplace. Hank Fishkind will be back to provide a comprehensive economic forecast for our regional economy. The conference will take a look at two projects shaping the eastern-interior corners of our region: the Babcock Property, and Ave Maria University and the surrounding community. In addition, the annual Business Building Leadership Award will be made to a distinguished business and community leader in recognition of regional "leadership, management and advocacy."
