Terrors need win against Groves to move into second in region - Brunswick News
By MURRAY POOLEThe Brunswick NewsEven if this game weren't one that could determine Glynn Academy's eventual state playoff fate, the Red Terrors would still have plenty to play for when the Groves Rebels arrive at Glynn County Stadium Friday night. First of all, it will be GA's homecoming, and members of the team always want to make a good impression on that occasion. And too, Rob Ridings' Terrors (5-2, 4-2 Region 3-AAAAA) feel they have something of a score to settle with Groves (5-2, 5-1), after absorbing a somewhat controversial 17-14 loss at the hands of the Rebels last year at Garden City Stadium, a setback that would play a role in Glynn eventually missing the playoffs.But the primary reason Friday's game takes on so much importance is because of the region standings.
