Konrad, 38, will be making her first Olympic appearance and will be the oldest U.S. Olympic athlete in Torino. After the Olympics, she plans to compete internationally for another year before returning to the University of Wyoming as a postdoctoral researcher, a job she left 18 months ago to pursue her Olympic dream. **A three-time National Senior Champion in 2002, Tim Burke (Paul Smiths, N.Y.) is the 2006 U.S. National Champion in 12.5K.
