Kenneth B. Biesterveld has joined Longer Investments Inc. of Fayetteville as a research analyst. He is responsible for equity research. Prior to joining Longer Investments in 2005, Biesterveld was a loan documentation specialist for a local bank and an administrative sales assistant for the bank’s asset management division. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a double major in finance and information systems from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2005. Crafton, Tull & Associates Inc., a multidiscipline architecture, engineering and surveying firm, recently hired Bob McDowell as an engineering designer to work with the Transportation Department in Rogers. McDowell has more than 25 years of experience. Marjorie Hart of Springdale received the 2005 Distinguished Senior Employee Award from the Arkansas Gerontological Society, sponsored by St. Vincent Senior Health Clinic, in a ceremony held Oct. 21 in Little Rock. The award recognizes Arkansas’ mature workers for their productivity, experience and reliability. Hart is the Aging Resource Center clerk for the Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education of Northwest Arkansas.
