Students, faculty fast to raise funds - Bradenton Herald
Murphy, a professor at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, was participating in Tuesday's "Fast-a-Thon." The event, sponsored by the school's Muslim Medical Student Association, challenged students and faculty at LECOM to not eat or drink from sunrise to sunset, and to donate the money they would have spent on food to Manatee County's Meals on Wheels program.
