He also serves the community through an Activity Center on the New Hope church grounds. It makes available activities for youths on-the-spot counseling and job referrals, computer training and a room for community meetings. The church also has a Community Park with playground equipment as well as offices for drug-, alcohol- and child-abuse counseling. Referrals are made to local or state agencies when necessary.
