New faculty named - Lenoir Rhyne College
Kathryn Tinkelenberg, assistant professor of nursing, has worked for L-R since 2001 as a clinical lab assistant in the nursing department. She has held nursing positions with Mercy Hospital and Firstat Nursing Services in Charlotte, and Frye Home Health in Hickory. She was a parish nurse at Catawba Valley Medical Center and a clinical instructor at Louise Harkey School of Nursing in Concord, N.C. She has also served at Doctor’s Hospital North, Ohio State University Hospitals and Medical Personnel Pool in Columbus, Ohio. Tinkelenberg received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Ohio State University and is currently enrolled in the doctoral program in nursing at Duquesne University.
