The Lincoln Highway Artists Studio Tour: Twenty artists' studios are open this weekend on the Lincoln Highway Tour, including 13 in Ames, two in Nevada, three in State Center and two in Marshalltown. The tour is based at the Octagon Center for the Arts, 427 Douglas Ave., Ames. Tour hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
