May sees city full of opportunity - North Adams Transcript
"A variety of things brought us to the area. In 1986, I read about the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and thought it would be interesting to move to an area where art would be the centerpiece," he said. "I was already familiar with the area. As a child, my family would always stop at the (Francine and Sterling) Clark Art Institute on our way to vacation in New Hampshire.
