A: The Saints would have second-fiddle status in Baton Rouge to the LSU Tigers. Slow ticket sales for Saints games there provide fresh evidence of tepid support in strong college markets for pro teams. The Saints' use of Tiger Stadium for up to 10 games (eight home and two exhibitions) would put a strain on campus resources and compromise the condition of the field. Finally, Baton Rouge faces long-term problems dealing with a heavy influx of evacuees from Katrina. Dealing with the long-term relocation of an NFL team probably would be an excessive strain.
